The Dance Types that we teach

We specialize in teaching a wide range of dances as mentioned below:

Salsa

Salsa is a style of dance specifically danced to salsa music. The history of salsa originates from Cuba, Colombia, Puerto Rico and other countries and is an 8 count based dance. We offer Salsa classes of all levels from beginner to advanced. Currently we offer classes on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at Sheraton Hotel, Kampala. Bachata

Bachata is a style of dance that originated in the Dominican Republic. It is danced widely all over the world but not identically. The basics to the dance are three-step with a Cuban hip motion, followed by a tap including a hip movement on the 4th beat. We offer Bachata classes of all levels from beginner to advanced. Currently we offer classes on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at Sheraton Hotel, Kampala. Feel free to contact us for the current ongoing levels

Kizomba

Kizomba is a dance originating in Angola. Kizomba means “party” in Kimbundu, a Bantu language spoken in Angola. Kizomba also includes other styles such as Urban Kiz and Kizomba Fusion. We offer Kizomba classes for beginners and intermediate. Currently we offer classes on Mondays and Wednesdays at Sheraton Hotel, Kampala. Feel free to contact us for the current ongoing levels.

Merengue

Merengue is the national dance of the Dominican Republic and is also one of the standard Latin American dances. It is a combination of two dances: the African and French Minuet. Waltz

The Waltz, a truly romantic dance, is a smooth dance that travels around the line of dance. Characterized by its “rise and fall” action, the Waltz includes a step, slide, and step in 3/4 time. We offer Waltz classes for beginners and wedding couples as a part of their first wedding dance choreography. Currently we offer classes at Sheraton Hotel, Kampala. Rueda de Casino

Rueda de Casino is a way of dancing Cuban salsa where pairs form a circle (in Spanish, rueda means “wheel”), and partners frequently swap. A cantante (a caller) calls out the turns that are performed in synchronicity. We offer Rueda de Casino classes for beginners and intermediate. Cha-cha-cha

Cha-cha-cha is danced to authentic Cuban music, although in ballroom competitions it is often danced to Latin pop or Latin rock. Its an energetic dance with a steady beat. Brazillian Zouk

Brazilian Zouk originates from Brazil during the early 1990s. Brazilian Zouk evolved from a dance known as the Lambada. As the Lambada music genre went out of fashion, Lambada dancers turned to Caribbean Zouk as their music of choice. We offer Brazilian Zouk classes for Beginners and intermediate. Kids Latin Dance Mix

Under Kids Latin Dance Mix. We teach your kids Salsa, Bachata and Cha-Cha from the age of 6yrs. Groups are formed according to relevant age intervals.
